Acting legend Glenn Close has shared why it took her some time to fully understand Ryan Murphy's new series. At 78, the eight-time Academy Award nominee and star of Fatal Attraction is diving into the world of television with All’s Fair, a drama about a group of women launching their own divorce law firm.
Close plays Dina Standish, the strong-willed matriarch in the series, which also stars Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, and Naomi Watts. While Close is celebrated mostly for her film and theatre work, joining a Ryan Murphy TV project was a fresh experience for her.
Speaking to PinkNews and other outlets before the show's Disney+ debut, Close revealed it took “a little while” for her to “get” the concept of the series. All’s Fair centers on female lawyers building their own practice after leaving a male-dominated firm.
“A team of female divorce attorneys leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice,” reads the show’s official synopsis.
The trailer, released last month, generated buzz describing the show as both “insane” and provocative.
