Fengate Breaks Ground on New Seniors’ Community in Oakville
Representatives from LiUNA, Fengate, Seasons Retirement Communities, Hi-Rise Group, SG Constructors, and Oakville Mayor Rob Burton recently gathered to break ground at 1105 McCraney, marking the start of a new seniors’ community in Oakville.
Project Overview
The 1105 McCraney development is a project led by the LiUNA Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada (LPFCEC) in partnership with Fengate, Seasons Retirement Communities, and The Hi-Rise Group.
This will be the first Greater Toronto Area development in the expanding Seasons portfolio, which currently includes:
- 15 retirement residences in Ontario
- 8 residences in Alberta
- 2 residences in British Columbia
Additional residences are under development across these regions.
Community Features
The planned six-storey building will feature 221 units, offering Independent Supportive Living (ISL) and Memory Care (MC) suites.
This "aging-in-place" approach provides a full range of care services under one roof, demonstrating Fengate’s commitment to developing accessible and high-quality housing solutions for Canadians.
This model allows residents to benefit from continuous support as their needs evolve, promoting independence and dignity in later life.
