Randy Foye ’06 CLAS Receives 2025 Loyalty Award
Villanova University, an Augustinian Catholic community that encourages critical thinking, compassionate action, and service, announced Randy Foye ’06 CLAS as the recipient of its 2025 Loyalty Award.
About the Loyalty Award
Established in 1932, the Loyalty Award is the oldest alumni honor presented by Villanova University. It is awarded annually to alumni who have demonstrated distinguished service to the University. Award recipients are chosen by previous winners through a voting process.
Award Presentation
Foye received the award during a ceremony held on Homecoming weekend in October.
“I am delighted to present this year’s Loyalty Award to Randy Foye, whose passion for Villanova continues to inspire our community,” said Sheila Doherty, associate vice president for Alumni Relations. “Randy’s leadership, mentorship and service reflect the very best of our University. Through his commitment to supporting Villanova’s student-athletes and volunteerism on behalf of the University, Randy embodies the Augustinian Catholic values that define what it means to be a Villanovan.”
Randy Foye's Achievements
- Key player for Villanova men’s basketball, leading the team to its first BIG EAST regular season title since 1997
- Helped the program secure its first No. 1 NCAA Tournament seed
- Earned BIG EAST Player of the Year and Consensus All-American honors
- Drafted seventh overall in 2006 and had an 11-year NBA career
