The upgrade is locally engineered and installed by Toyota, not an aftermarket modification, and is intended to simplify compliance and total-cost-of-ownership for fleet buyers. The GVM upgrade is developed locally by Toyota and installed domestically by Toyota. Warranty remains five years. System compatibility is maintained with the upgrade. Fleet buyers see easier regulatory compliance and lower TCO.
