Penarth’s small Welsh vineyard is a small Welsh site where Bernard and Tanya Herbert started planting in 1999. Ten acres were bear fruit by 2001, with varieties including Madeleine Angevine plus Pinot Noir, primarily Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay for sparkling wine. Due to lacking a winery, Three Choirs at Newent makes the wines. The vineyard’s status remains independent.
