Nintendo is ending Mario Kart Tour on 11 September 2026.
The mobile game started in 2019 backed by high expectations.
There will be no longer offline option for players.
Players won’t be able to claim any leftover purchases when it goes dark soon.
Nintendo says costs and low returns forced the move after declining revenue.
The game generated about $290 million since launch holds a substantial fan base.
Fans are upset with the decision which show their frustration.
