During the performance, a man confronted him and said he and his wife were going to hell. Security intervened and held Franklin back as the exchange grew heated.
Later, Wawa officials stated the concert had been cancelled and that there are no plans rescheduled. The statement came out after the incident and after fans learned the event would not be held again.
